never always

Accuracy is the first casualty of poisoned love.

When the adverbs "always" and "never" are used by a mate to describe your actions or inactions, start thinking "Now in convenient, single-serving portions."  It's over.  Nobody always thinks only of himself.  He often thinks only of himself.  It cannot truthfully be said your mate is never there when you need her.  She is only frequently absent during a crisis.  So why do we insist on mischaracterizing the habits of others?  Because we are fucked up;  also, because accuracy is too forgiving, too slow in elevating us to Full Victim Status.

I am right about this.  It is always true.  It never fails.
